When confirmation of the record was received Winemaker, Joseph DeMaria was quoted as saying, “The expert judges at this competition should be commended for their sensory abilities in recognizing the 2000 Chardonnay Icewine 3 years in a row. I am thrilled to see how this icewine is aging and how consistently the expert judges at Chardonnay-du-Monde have received it.”
The Royal DeMaria 2000 Chardonnay Icewine is the wineries most commended icewine to date.
